Beyond conjugality: Recognizing and supporting close personal adult relationships, a report by the Law Commission of Canada (2002) The commission recommends reviewing every law that considers marriage or family status for the purpose of changing laws to better accommodate relationships that fall outside of the heterosexual, monogamous, conjugal model.
